Taking a Selfie Can Help Feed & Clothe the Children of Ocean County

June 12, 2018

Apex United Corporation is hosting a fundraiser with Ocean Partnership for Children. Take a selfie in Downtown Toms River, NJ and use the hashtag #ApexUnited. For every selfie with the hashtag, Apex United Corporation will donate $1 to Ocean Partnership for Children up to $10,000. Fred Bernard said, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Now until December 31, 2018, your picture can be enough to help feed and clothe the children of Ocean County, NJ. Basically, 10,000 selfies are valued at $10,000 in donations to help provide for our community. Please keep in mind that your post or page needs to be public (in case you have it private) so everyone can see and keep a tally of all the selfies provided by participants.

As you may know, there are a lot of children that aren’t able to take care of themselves. With this year’s fundraiser, Apex United Corporation is creating awareness and helping those children in need. The goal is to raise a generous donation in the amount of $10,000 that can help feed and clothe children without the necessary resources they need to survive. Since Apex United is one of the main pillars in the community, the bigger picture is to influence the other businesses and the communities to spread love and acts of kindness to better the environment.

This year’s fundraiser is designed to help shape a positive influence for the community as well as nurture children of less fortunate living conditions. Hopefully, other companies and occupants of the Toms River area see this campaign as way to help make Downtown a better district. This campaign is by far one of the best ways to build awareness and help drive positive influencers to participant in cleaning up the community.

Unfortunately, some people just don’t have an extra $1 they can spare. The true beauty of this campaign is the fact that you can help those in need by taking a selfie and posting it to a social media source, with the appropriate hashtag. This means you don’t have to dig inside your wallet or purse to help contribute to this great cause. Because there’s so many people with registered accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, that they are glued to on the day-to-day basis, it’s very simple and convenient to become a part of the movement. So come visit Downtown, post a public selfie, and help donate to a good cause!
